Hi! I'm Dr. Perrino :)
​I am a board-certified pediatrician and the founder of Perrino Medical. I believe that all children and families deserve to live their healthiest lives and my values are deeply rooted in my faith, with a focus on service, compassion, and integrity.
After working 15+ years in U.S. healthcare systems, I continued to be heartbroken by how discouraged parents have become as they struggle to live in financial peace while dedicating their lives to raising children into adulthood. I've supported parents reluctant to return to work only 2 weeks after delivering their babies, parents who were unable to provide breastmilk and receive formula recall news, families whose lives are disrupted by unplanned health challenges, parents who know they have smart children who are struggling to sit still in class, and so much more. Frame that with limited appointments and costly insurance plans that deny many requests for basic health needs, and you see the problem.
Mid-career and with my children watching, I made a decision to do something different and find solutions. I started this practice with the hopes of giving my patients and families as much time as they need to ask me all of their questions without the worry of unnecessary costs like co-pays. I love being the pediatrician who truly knows their families and can ease their minds by supporting them during times of need.

I understand that evidence-based medicine works best when we all work together as a team. Families of all backgrounds, beliefs, and traditions are welcome here and I will continue to try to create safe spaces where children can thrive, and where we can discuss preventive health plans, medical education, and long-term health goals.

Learn about the DPC model
The direct primary care (DPC) model gives physicians a meaningful alternative to fee-for-service insurance billing, typically by charging patients a monthly, quarterly, or annual fee. This fee covers all or most primary care services, including clinical and laboratory services, consultative services, care coordination, and comprehensive care management.

Because some services are not covered by a retainer, DPC practices often suggest that patients acquire a high-deductible wraparound policy to cover emergencies.

What are the benefits of DPC?
DPC benefits patients by providing substantial savings and a greater degree of access to, and time with, physicians.​ DPC allows physicians to care for the whole person while reducing the overhead and negative incentives associated with fee-for-service third-party-payer billing. ​

DPC vs. Concierge Care
Direct primary care is different than concierge care: it typically offers low monthly fees, does not participate in any payer programs, and applies the patient's membership fees to a broader range of services.
